Forskolin

Derived from Plectranthus barbatus (also known as Coleus forskohlii or Indian nettle), this extract is a natural source of forskolin. Forskolin increases intracellular levels of cyclic AMP (cAMP), a key messenger that supports the function of various hormones and cellular mediators. Additionally, cAMP plays a vital role in intercellular hormonal regulation along the hypothalamus-pituitary-endocrine glands axis.

Because of these effects, forskolin is commonly used by athletes during fat loss phases and to support the development of lean muscle mass.
